Similar to the homeless men waiting for Godot’s arrival in ‘Waiting for Godot’, people often expect external factors (wind) to escape from difficulties or create change (dust fluctuations). The wind comes, but it is often brief, the dust will return to a calm state. The complexity and instability of people, as well as their desire for new experiences, can lead them to hope to meet someone, reach a certain place, complete something, and look forward to the next wind.
Process
I track the mouse position to calculate the interaction between the dust and the wind, and update the position, speed, and acceleration of the dust. The dust are driven by the wind to produce fascinating motion effects, making them chase, interact and transform on the canvas.
